KSMQ Talks Disaster with Emergency Experts—
Show Helps Viewers Consider Pandemic Flu Implications
When disaster strikes do you have a game plan? Have you thought about what your family would do if you had to evacuate your house? As a business owner, have you devised a plan of action should severe weather strike? Are any of us prepared for a pandemic flu?
In 2006, KSMQ hosted roundtable disucssion, people from our communities who think about disaster preparedness every day helped guide us through a discussion on these important topics. Following the discussion, viewers were given the opportunity to call in with their questions.
This special program was produced as part of the station’s ongoing commitment to provide local programming of critical importance to our region.
