About the Series...
This series highlights the contributions and life experiences of people in our region in an effort to help bridge relationships and understanding with members of our diverse communities.
The changing dynamic of the population and the ease in which we are able to gather information generates curiosities, raises questions and provides exciting opportunities for cultural learning, diversity and growth. Coastal experiences and trends as they relate to increases in diverse populations have traditionally occurred outside of the Midwest. But more and more these changes are occurring in our region. Viewers have a unique chance to learn more about barriers that hinder people that many may take for granted.
