Welcome to Austin
It is a wonderful community in southern Minnesota dedicated to its people. Thanks to the support of the City of Austin, KSMQ presents a program each month that shines a spotlight on the events and people of this community.
The goal is to educate residents who might not otherwise have access to area happenings as well as give others a reason to visit the city for a great concert or other event.
Check out the video archives for previous stories on such places as the Austin Symphony, the Farmer’s Market, Mower County Historical Society and much more. You’ll also want to take note of the advisory team members who are helping to tell this community’s story. Contact them or e-mail KSMQ with your own ideas about what makes Austin great.
We want to hear from you...
Have an idea for a story we should air or if you have comments, we invite you to share your thoughts and suggestions on the KSMQ blog with other KSMQ viewers and the KSMQ staff.
