KSMQ Public Television presents Arrival: Women's Visions for a New Home, a half-hour documentary that explores Minnesota’s every-changing cultural landscape. Arrival share the stories of four women who came to the United States as immigrants or refugees after surmounting intense personal challenges in their countries of origin. These courageous women are now engaged in their new home using their strengths and voices to construct a brighter future in Minnesota, for Minnesota.
Arrival was created in coordination with the African Women's Alliance and Casa Guadalupe Multicultural Communities. It recently received a Bronze Telly Award. Telly Awards honor outstanding local, regional, and cable TV programs; this year there were nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents.
