KSMQ-TV TO FEATURE AUSTIN HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS ATHLETICS

AUSTIN, Minn.— KSMQ-TV will document the success of the 2011-12 Austin girls gymnastics and dance teams with a special 30-minute program entitled "Jump! Austin Sports Extra" to be broadcast on Sunday, May 20 at 5:00 p.m. The program, produced by KSMQ-TV, will feature in-depth interviews with student athletes and the coaches from each squad.

"These are sports that are followed by a dedicated group of fans, but many viewers might not be as familiar with them as with other sports," said Eric Olson, KSMQ President and CEO. "We wanted to let folks know about the time and effort that these students put in to compete successfully in these sports."

"Jump! Austin Sports Extra" will also be available for viewing on the station website www.ksmq.org and on its You Tube channel. The program will be rebroadcast on KSMQ-TV on the following dates:

Wednesday, May 23 at 6:30 pm

Tuesday, May 29 at 7 pm

Friday, June 1at 1 pm

Saturday, June 23 at 9:30 pm
