KSMQ is the only locally owned public television in southern Minnesota and northern Iowa.  With the addition of our digital transmitter in 2003, KSMQ has the potential to provide the 655,000 residents in Austin, Albert Lea, Rochester, Faribault, Mason City, Iowa, Mankato, Winona and the surrounding communities with High Definition TV programs (HDTV), Multicasting (simultaneous airing of up to four channels), and Datacasting (wireless transmission to any computer or television with or without Internet access).

KSMQ can be seen over the air on channel 15 or on the following cable channels:
